Today for the first time the day started quite cloudy however it soon cleared to the usual clear blue sky and a warm 29 deg.
Having bought the Weekend Australian it was time to read the newspapers being a Sunday morning.
It was then time to visit Cable Beach, maybe for the last time to laze on the beach and have a swim. With the surf up a bit, it was also good to do some body surfing. A couple of hours passed very quickly and then it was time to return to have some lunch.
We finished up sitting on our chairs on our own beach front having afternoon tea and gazing out across the ocean at the yachts and the general activity of the keen anglers launching and retrieving their tinnies.
A great prawn pasta with a glass of red finished off our day along with catching up the blog and a game of cards.
Tomorrow we have to start clearing up in earnest as we have to vacate by 10 am on Tuesday so we’ll take down the awnings and pack them away as that usually takes up most of the time.
