Another beautiful day though once again a cool start at 12 deg. Today we decided to drive down to Cable Beach and set up our sun shade and relax on the beach with our lunch and a few cool drinks.
First of all we stocked up at Woollies as we were starting to run low on supplies and we had to wait until the tide was running out so we could drive along the beach.
It was all very relaxing reading and having the occasional swim and a few body surfs in the very tame waves. However we did keep an eye out for crocs as the beach was closed a few days ago as one was sighted off shore.
In the evening we went to the cinema (Sun Pictures) under the stars and watched Samson and Delilah which we really could relate to as we have been driving through some of the areas that it was filmed in and have seen seen some of the lifestyle being portrayed ,that the aboriginals find themselves in. It was a very moving film and it deserved the applause it was given at the end by most of the audience.
